History: Located in Selah (near Yakima), Alhambra Wine Co. was established in 1935 by Otis Harlan. It was primarily known for inexpensive fruit wines and fruit juice products, most notably the "Bokay" 20% alcohol WA apple wine. This was 500k gallon facility winery! In 1965 they bought the old Old St. Charles label and produced a line of dessert wines under that name. They were still in operation in 1981, but vanished before I started to follow the industry in 1984.
