4th Annual Grape Stomp During "Catch The Crush"
23 & 24 Sep. 10am-5pm

Claar Cellars will be conducting our 4th Annual Grape Stomp.
Teams of two will compete in General Public or Corporate
divisions.  One contestant stomps grapes in a half wine barrel
while the other catches the juice in a wine bottle.  The team
with the first full bottle of juice wins.  Each participant will
receive a Claar Cellars Grape Stomper ribbon.  The Grape Stomp is
held Saturday ONLY at 3pm during the Columbia Valley Winery
Association's Annual "Catch the Crush" which is Staurday and
Sunday from 10am to 5pn both days.  Pre-registration suggested.

This year we will be doing something extra special as a supporter
of the Tri-Cities Rotary Great Mid-Columbia Duck Race.  The Duck
Race is an event, supporting scholarship, youth and community
projects, where for $5.00 you adopt a plastic duck that on Oct. 7
is dumped into the Columbia River where it races for the finish
line and prizes.  Each Grape Stomp contestant that adopts a duck
at the Grape Stomp will have their name placed in a Claar Cellars
drawing for 20 ducks purchased by Claar Cellars in their name.
Have fun stomping and do a good deed at the same time!  Maybe the
duck's webbed feet will help you win!


CLAAR CELLARS 1997 CHARDONNAY CASE CLOSEOUT

We are offering only to our Washington State friends, due to the
limited supply, a final chance to purchase our 1997 Chardonnay.
A truly luscious wine, with an exceedingly rich mouthfeel

perfumes and a backdrop of toasty oak.  The finish is long and

from both the Wine Spectator and the Beverage Testing Institute.
