History:
Edgefield is a large chain with over a dozen restaurants in Portland and Seattle (usually named "McMenamins"). Some of these are old movie theaters where you can watch current release films while you enjoy your microbrew or wine.

There are far too many outlets to list, however the main campus on the old Multnomah County Poor Farm is a wonderful stop on your Columbia Gorge winetasting trip. With the brewery, winery, a Bed & Breakfast, an informal restaurant and a formal restaurant, and lovely gardens you can walk through, it should not be missed.
