Greenbank Cellars
Vineyard

A classic vineyard, surrounded by trees which keeps the north Puget Sound winds down. Note the 8 foot tall wire fence -- necessary to keep out the deer. The rose bush at the end of each grape row is an old French trick -- roses are susceptible to the same molds as grapes, but more so -- thus they're like the canary in the coal mine, an early warning system. They have about 3 acres in grapes, including Madeline Angevine, Muller Thurgau, Sieggerebbe.
