During the winter, the pass weather conditions can be problematic -- all roads are occasionally closed. Follows are some links to help you decide if the passs are open/clear.

From Seattle, you're interested in I-90 -- Snoqualmie Pass.
From Olympia & Tacoma, you may prefer SR-410 -- White Pass.
