Chateau Ste. Michelle: Cold Creek Vineyard
Cold Creek Vineyard has produced some of CSM's most highly awarded Reserve and single vineyard wines. For almost thirty years, Cold Creek has proven to be one of the finest vineyards in Washington. Although CSM's northern-most vineyard, its position away from the Columbia River makes it one of CSM's warmest. This warmth contributes a richness and intensity of fruit flavors unique to the wines from this vineyard.
Varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc.

Chateau Ste. Michelle: Indian Wells Vineyard
Indian Wells vineyard sits on the Wahluke slope overlooking the Columbia River in central Washington. The quality of the Merlot and Chardonnay bottlings from this warm, early-ripening vineyard originates from grapes with an ideal balance of sugar, acidity and pH. CSM's first bottling of Indian Wells Merlot was rated number one of the top ten American Merlots by syndicated wine columnist Richard Nalley. The next vintage, 1992, was rated 96 and tied for Best American Merlot in the Wine Enthusiast World Wine Championship.

Chateau Ste. Michelle: Weinbau Vineyard
This vineyard, like Indian Wells Vineyard, sits on the Wahluke slope in central Washington. Like Indian Wells and Cold Creek Vineyard, its neighbor ten miles to the south, Weinbau is among the warmest vineyards in the state. An excellent site for Chardonnay, the warmth in this vineyard translates to excellent fruit ripening and intense flavors in the finished wine.
