History:
Redford Cellars was started in 1984, by winemaker Steve Redford (whose brother Myron is winemaker at Oregon's Amity Vineyards). His first releases were actually produced at Amity Vineyards. He worked with Coventry Vale and Mercer Ranch Vineyards to produce his next releases. His partnership with Mercer Ranch Vineyards grew, until Don Mercer, in 1987, hired Steve as winemaker and transferred Redford Cellars production there.
