Customers can preorder wine, have it shipped or picked up at the winery during our Spring Open House, May 1,& 2, 1999, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The new releases are: 1997 Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Franc from Spring Valley Vineyard. It is a blend of 90% Cabernet Franc and 10% Merlot. The wine is loaded with ripe cherry, cedar, surrounded by soft tannins and with a creme brulee' finish. It is thought to be one of the best Washington State Franc made! $ 25.00 per 750 ml bottle. 1997 Walla Walla Valley Merlot. The terrior of the Spring Valley Vineyard is evident in this 89% Merlot and 11% Cabernet Franc blend. It is rich, and full-bodied, exploding with complex berry flavors. This wine is layered with blackberry, cassis, blueberry, and has a chocolate finish. Merlot collectors who have tasted this wine are "on point" to buy it at this great value! $ 25.00 per 750 ml bottle. 1997 Yakima Valley Merlot from Pleasant Vineyard with a light touch of Spring Valley Vineyard Cabernet Franc to elevate its elegance. This rich wine has a velvety texture with very attractive fruit. It is plush and delicious with berry, sweet black olive, and a spun sugar finish. At the December Barrel Tasing many tasters wanted to buy futures of this Merlot to ensure their purchase. $ 25.00 per 750 ml bottle. During our last three releases, we have sold out of our wines and some were customer-limited. However, we are not limiting the sale of these wines since we have doubled our production from 1996. We will sell wines on a first-come-first-serve basis. We cannot accept phone orders. A limited quantity of each wine in 1.5 liter bottles will be available at the winery for $ 65.00 each.
