Vineyards: Snipes Gap Vineyard (135 acres, 7-8 used for Willow Crest wines); Gewurtztraminer, Riesling, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Gris, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc Distribution: through winery and some grocery stores History: The Minicks bought a 240 acre farm of apples and grapes in 1982. They sold grapes to Stimson Lane, but felt that they were missing out on seeing the completion of the process that growing the grapes had begun, so they decided to start their own winery. They learned the winemaking craft from working with other winemakers and reading vociferously. They are assisted in their ventures by their son Benjamin.
