Spring 2001

Spring is here at last with plenty of windy and rainy days in the
vineyards.  Pruning is finished, buds on the Chardonnay are swelling and
the wind machines are ready for frost control.  The wines are resting
quietly after winter racking and the 1999 "artist series" cabernet will be
bottled soon.

This is also the time for the annual Walla Walla Valley Spring wine
release.  Please join us the first two weekends in May for great wine and
touring of the beautiful Walla Walla Valley!  We will be offering several
of our finest reds, two spectacular chardonnays and our brand new rose of
Cabernet Franc.  This rose is spectacular!  10% case discount is still in
effect through the release.  Our web page, woodwardcanyon.com has all the
current Woodward Canyon releases.  I look forward to seeing you in Walla
