Yakima River Winery - Wines
The Wines: (Spring 1996)
White:
1995 Johannisberg Riesling:
The aroma offers honeysuckle and peach scents that blossom in the
glass. Incredibly well-balanced in the mouth, crisp acid balances all
the elegant fruit. Acid cleanses the palate but does not interfere
with the lingering aftertaste. A classic from this classic winery.

Deep, extracted and abundantly fruity, the ripe and rich spicy oak
nose is succeeded by full and concentrated flavors that show fine
continuity in depth and character with the wine's impressive aromatic
beginning. Moderately full bodied and well balanced, drinkable now
and yet promising to develop for 7 to 8 years in your cellar.

1992 Merlot:
Aromas of smoke and raspberry with a depth and concentration one
would not believe, make this world class Merlot a great value. On
the palate, the density and boldness of the fruit carry past the

2 hours before serving.
