While near LA, we visited a less trendy (in other words undeveloped)
beach. There's a lifegaurd station, a porta-potty, and lots of rocks
and sand -- much more to our northwest style than the bustle of
beautiful people jogging and playing volleyball at Hermosa Beach where
The Lighthouse sits.
Above the beach at the parking area. It's a 15 minute hike down to
the water.
