History:
Craig and Vickie Leuthold of Spokane began their interest in wine around 1983. They've been part owners of Fort Spokane Brewing Company, and Coffee Systems Inc in Spokane, and are partners in Cascade Cliffs Winery.

Winery building was erected about a mile west of the Maryhill Museum of Art in Oct-2000. With a $3,000,000 investment on 25 acres, they've planned a 17,400 sq ft building for the winery and tasting room, including an apt. for the owners and (coming in 2002) a 2,500 seating ampitheater! (Talk about ambitious!)

Their initial vintage is the 1999, custom crushed for them by Hogue Cellars in Prosser; their second vintage will also be a custom crush by Hogue.

Of special note:
With a spectacular view of Mount Hood and the Columbia River, and the unheralded gem that is the Maryhill Museum of Art with it's world reknowned Rodin collection, there's plenty to see! A huge tasting room with deli and gift shop and a deck, arbors and picnic tables you'll have an wonderful outdoor picnic in the warm months.
